When will I receive push notifications?

Last Updated: May 08, 2017 04:43PM PDT

Push notifications help you stay up-to-date on recent activity from people you are following. You will receive a push notification when:

1. Someone starts following you: “Captain Ahab (@CptAhab) started following you.”
2. Someone you follow starts a public broadcast: “Captain Ahab is live: View from Pequod.”
3. Someone you follow invites you to a private broadcast: “Captain Ahab invited you to a private broadcast: We just got engaged!”
4. Somebody you follow shares another person’s live broadcast. “@Melville wants you to watch: Captain Ahab is live: View from Pequod.”
5. When someone you follow on Twitter live broadcasts for the first time: "Captain Ahab is live for the first time!"
6. Someone adds you to a Group: "Captain Ahab added you to 'All of My Best Friends'"
